Clean hotel in a historic building next to downtown and other areas around, the restaurant and Tacos, farmacy and liquor stores. The pool area is clean too. No charge for wake up service and ironing too. Helpful personnel and marvellous location in one neighborhood or the other.

Despite a rocky start with room access issues, the attentive staff and clean facilities won me over. The dining experience was a highlight, with a friendly wait staff ready to please. For a spontaneous trip, the location was fantastic, with a good mix of quality and value.

Valet parking feels like a prison!!! Forced tipping during room service isn't the norm!!! Shower issues with fluctuating temperatures and loose knobs need immediate fixing!!!

clean but lacks warmth
The lobby feels inviting. It sets a good tone upon arrival. The pool view provided a lovely backdrop, perfect for family photos. The receptionist was direct, refreshing after a long journey.
While the clean areas are appreciated, the overall atmosphere felt a bit sterile and uninviting.

Room was very clean and nicely decorated. The Restaurant staff were excellent, breakfast was wonderful.Very nice looking hotel on the interior.
Checked in at 2 a.m. Very tired after flight delay. Been in the room for 10 minutes when night reception staff rang telling us we hadnt payed enough money. They were very persistant about getting the $16 they said we owed, when we refused to go back downstairs to pay they said they would send someone up, we refused this option and said we would pay upon check out. The night staff had kept part of the booking confirmation, but I still had a page. Upon checkout, reception staff were very nice until I disputed the $16 charge, she stormed off (possibly for back up) On return I showed the page I had stating the room and charge, then I recieved an apology saying it was the hotels fault. The receptionist then totally ignored me when I asked for a reciept,it was only when she realized I wasn`t moving that she printed one for me. Obviously a scam between reception staff to get money for themselves.

I admit that the hotel is a lot more that what I expected for the prize. Very quiet and silence room, excellent air conditrioning; Is the first time I can tell that the bed was even more comfortable that my own at home. Room very clean and georgious bath. The staff was very friendly and helpfull
My only real complaint is the tube bath wasn't working properly and also the water was taking a while to drain out. But this is also easy to fix I think. The other thing probably is the location; If you are staying in this hotel for save a few bucks take in consideration the amount you expend on taxis to takes you anywhere else. But still I prefer the premium that I have to pay (the taxis) than much less quality hotels very near the border. At the end you paid the same but you have more comfort here.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was comfortable, with nice furnishings and good housekeeping. The staff stood out for their friendliness and helpfulness. Common areas appeared outdated and in need of maintenance, detracting from the overall experience. The dining options were decent, though not standout, especially compared to the fresh salmon that I enjoyed. An airport shuttle was thankfully available.
